Vacheron Constantin - Overseas Collection
One of the top novelty of the year was presented in January, on occasion of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie of Geneva, by Vacheron Constantin with the new Hallmark of Geneva-certified Overseas collection.

Also showcased at SIHH 2016, the new Drive de Cartier Collection introduced a brand new cushion-shaped case used for various models.

A. Lange & Sohne - Saxonia Moon Phase
One of the several novelties presented by A. Lange & Söhne at SIHH 2016, the new Saxonia Moon Phase successfully combines two of the most popular and appreciated watchmaking complications: date and moon phase display.

Tag Heuer - Heuer Monza 40th Anniversary
Tag Heuer reinterpreted the 1976 historical model housing it in a titanium case coated with titanium carbide and maintaining the two key functions - the pulsometer and the tachymeter scale.

Rolex - Cosmograph Daytona Steel with Black Ceramic Bezel 
From Rolex, the highly sought-after new version of the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona equipped with a monobloc Cerachrom bezel in black ceramic.

Bulgari - Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater
With this model, Bulgari set a world record with the thinnest striking watch currently on the market.

Grönefeld - 1941 Remontoire
The Dutch horological brothers, Bart and Tim Grönefeld, presented a completely new model (case, dial and movement) featuring an eight seconds constant force mechanism which optimizes time keeping.

Urban Jurgenesen - Jules Collection
Urban Jürgensen expanded its offering with the new Jules Collection, launched on occasion of Baselworld 2016.

Glashütte Original - Senator Excellence
For the introduction of its brand new manufacture automatic movement, Calibre 36, Glashütte Original launched an entirely new line: the Senator Excellence.

Officine Panerai - Luminor Due Collection
With this new collection, Officine Panerai achieved a reduction in the thickness of the case compared to the historic one which is up to 40% for some models.

Patek Philippe Nautilus 40th Anniversary
Patek Philippe celebrated the 40th anniversary of its casually elegant Nautilus collection with two Nautilus 40th Anniversary limited-edition models.

Armin Strom - Mirrored Force Resonance Fire
A new Armin Strom creation featuring a patented resonating dual regulator developed for maximum precision while displaying its fascinating mechanism on the dial side.

World record for a wristwatch sold at an auction
On 12 November 2016, “The Geneva Watch Auction: Four” held by Phillips Watches  established the world record for any wristwatch sold at an auction with the ultra-rare Patek Philippe Reference 1518 in stainless steel which achieved the impressive amount of Swiss Francs 11,002,000.
