Ateliers deMonaco - Poinçon de Genève Saphir

With its Poinçon de Genève collection, Ateliers deMonaco emphasises its attachment to watchmaking traditions while remarking the attainment of the prestigious certification denoting the manufacturer’s mastery of the entire watchmaking process.

The collection is now expanding with a new model, limited to 18 pieces, available in white or rose gold.

The dynamic lines of the 40 mm x 9.2 mm case frame a refined sapphire dial with applied Roman numerals, enabling the wearer to see the perlage decoration on the movement.

The Poinçon de Genève Saphir is equipped with the in-house and patented dMc-708 calibre featuring a 38-hour power reserve and driving central hour, minute and second hands.

The hand-decorated bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève finishing can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

The movement includes the newly patented "Freebeat" hairspring regulation system. This system guarantees more precision compared to conventional regulation systems where pins on both side of the hairspring are used to regulate how much it can wind and unwind hence regulating the speed of the balance wheel. Unfortunately, the collisions of the hairspring against these pins interfere with the overall precision of the movement. Differently, with the "Freebeat" system the length of the hairspring can be regulated with an adjustable crémaillère (straight bar with teeth on one edge, allowing it to be fixated at different length).

Matched to a brown or a black hand-stitched alligator leather strap with either a rose or white gold ardillon buckle, the Ateliers deMonaco Poinçon de Genève Saphir has a price of Swiss Francs 24,700 in red gold (ref. DMC-PDG-SPH-RG) or Swiss Francs 25,900 in white gold (ref. DMC-PDG-SPH-WG).
