Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve 2016: the Winners

The jury of the 16th Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG), this year held in the Theatre du Leman, has chosen the 2016 winners in each of the twelve categories.

The international jury has also awarded the “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix, the highest distinction honouring the finest timepiece of the year, to the Ferdinand Berthoud Chronometrie FB 1 (click here to read the article that we published on September 23, 2015). Congratulations to the entire team at Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud.

The winner of the Public Prize is the Czapek & Cie Quai des Bergs timepiece which marked the comeback of the brand.

The special Revival prize has been assigned to the TAG Heuer Monza Chronograph.

Finally, the Special Jury Prize has been assigned to the George Daniels Educational Trust, the charity established after the death of the great British watchmaker with the object to further the higher education of pupils studying, or intending to study, the disciplines of Horology, Engineering, Medicine, or Building Construction.
