Maurice Lacroix - Masterpiece Skeleton 2016

The Masterpiece Skeleton from Maurice Lacroix does not feature a conventional dial. Instead, the main bridge is arranged in several spoke-like elements leaving large spaces through which it is possible to see the movement.

This way, the mainspring, the balance, the winding stem and other movement parts can be observed in action.

The Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Skeleton is powered by the manufacture ML134 Calibre, a hand-wound movement with grand colimaçon and sandblasted decoration on the main bridge, delivered in two new variations: black gold or blue CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition).

Slow-beating at 18,000 vibrations per hour, the movement has a power reserve of 45 hours.

The hour and minute hands feature luminescent coating to enhance readability even in poor light conditions. The small seconds hand at 9 o’clock looks like floating above the open-worked main bridge.

The stainless case alternating satin and polished finish is water resistant to 50 metres / 165 feet and measures 43 mm in diameter.
