Bulgari - Hora Domus Dual Timezone

The new Bulgari Hora Domus (Home Time in Latin) offers an original dual timezone display in the signature case of Daniel Roth, the brand that Bulgari acquired in 2000.

Two hour hands, one lumed and the other skeletonized, indicate the home time and the local time respectively. When the wearer is not travelling, the local time coincides with the home time and the two hands overlaps appearing as one.

When traveling, the local time can be quickly set to the current timezone by using the pusher at 4 o’clock. Each time you push it, the skeletonized local-time hour hand advances by an hour, along with the city indicator at 6 o’clock.

Protected by a glassbox sapphire, the black lacquer or silver-toned dial includes the indications of the current season at 9 o’clock, an AM/PM indicator for local time at 12 o’clock, and a day/night indicator for home time at 3 o’clock.

Via a pusher at the 8 o’clock position, it is also possible to quickly adjust the Daylight Saving Time.

The oval-shaped rose gold case has a width of 45 mm and houses an automatic movement beating at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) with a 42-hour power reserve. The movement is based on Bulgari’s BVL 191 automatic calibre integrated by an in-house module for the complications.

The Bulgari Hora Domus Dual Timezone has a price of around Swiss Francs 34,700 / Euro 36,000 / US$ 40,000. bulgari.com
