TAG Heuer - Aquaracer 300M Calibre 5 Ceramic 43 mm

For lovers of larger watches, TAG Heuer expands the Aquaracer 300M line with two new references boasting a 43 mm case, 2 mm larger than the 41 mm models presented last year.

Designed by TAG Heuer as the ideal timepiece for all kinds of extreme conditions, not just diving, the Aquaracer 300M Calibre 5 Ceramic 43 mm features a ceramic uni-directional rotating bezel with twelve sides and six studs, a screw-down crown, and a screw-down case back engraved with a diver's helmet.

The polished and satin-finished stainless steel case (water resistant 300 metres / 1000 feet) frames a dial with horizontal streak pattern, thick hour and minutes hands and a sweeping seconds hand with a triangle-shaped tip. Luminescent markers on indexes and hands enhance viewing in poor light conditions.

Like the 41 mm version, the sapphire crystal is enhanced by a magnifier on the date window.

The reference WAY201A.BA0927 comes with black dial and black ceramic bezel while reference WAY201B.BA0927 is characterised by blue dial and ceramic bezel.

Both models are matched to a stainless steel bracelet with a deployant buckle and diving extension.

The movement of choice is the self-winding Calibre 5 (Sellita SW200-based) beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 38 hours.

The price of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer 300M Calibre 5 Ceramic 43 mm is Swiss Francs 2,300 / Euro 2,400 / US$ 2,650.
