Omega - Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm Automatic

The new Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm Automatic presented by Omega at Baselworld 2016 introduces a new uni-directional rotating diving bezel where, for the first time, rubber has been blended with ceramic, with orange rubber covering the first 15 minutes.

Diving and minute scales are made of the exceptionally hard and corrosion resistant Liquidmetal alloy.

The black dial is crafted from polished ceramic and enriched by rhodium-plated indexes coated with white Super-LumiNova (blue emission) and applied Arabic numerals at 6, 9 and 12 o'clock.

The stainless steel case has a diameter of 43.5 mm with a height of 16.04 mm. Thanks to the screw-in crown and the helium escape valve on the caseband at 10 o'clock, the watch is water resistant to 600 metres / 2,000 feet.

Inside, the self-winding Master Chronometer Calibre 8900 beats at 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) with a power reserve of 60 hours. You can read more on the Omega Master Chronometer certification here.

Completed by a black leather strap with a black and orange rubber underside, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm Automatic (ref. 215.32.44.21.01.001) has a price of Euro 5,800 with strap or Euro 5,900 with steel bracelet. omegawatches.com
