Ralf Tech - WRV Automatic 1977 "Parisienne"

The new WRV Automatic 1977 "Parisienne" diver's watch from French watchmaker Ralf Tech is a bridge between two eras, celebrating the visual codes of the Seventies while using today's technologies.

The 43.8 mm case is crafted from 316L surgical stainless steel alternating polished and brushed surfaces in a nice game of contrasts.

The crown is positioned at 4 o'clock, a location which protects it from shocks without overloading the body with a crown guard. It also improves the wearing comfort because the crown does not hit the middle of the wrist when bending it backwards.

The 120-clicks unidirectional rotating bezel, featuring a black aluminium insert with immersion time, frames a matt black dial characterised by the gold surfaces on the indexes and hands. The particular finish is due to the 2N18 treatment, an alloy composed of 75% gold, 16% silver and copper. The hands are also coated with Super-LumiNova.

Water resistant to 200 metres / 660 feet and compliant with ISO 6425 diving watches standard, the WRV Automatic "Parisienne" has a 3.9 mm thick sapphire crystal, a thickness usually reserved for pieces designed to descend to greater depths, which guarantees the reliability of this model.

The automatic movement RTA002 is based on the ETA 2836 and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 44 hours.

Completed by a black hand-stitched calfskin strap and an additional black Zulu strap, the Ralf Tech WRV Automatic "Parisienne" will be available in a limited edition of just 77 pieces with a price of Euro 2,250. ralftech.com
