Tudor - Heritage Black Bay “Black”

Presented in 2012 with a black chocolate dial and burgundy bezel, followed in 2014 by a second version with deep-black dial and midnight blue bezel, the Tudor Heritage Black Bay is now available also in a new version with black bezel and other distinctive details.

With its black unidirectional bezel and red triangle, the Tudor Heritage Black Bay "Black" is the model that come closer to the Tudor Submariner reference 7922, launched in 1954, which inspired the re-edition.

The black dial features pink gold hands and hour markers with the signature angular hands, known by connoisseurs as “Snowflakes”.

The stainless steel case has a diameter of 41 mm and alternates polished and satin finished surfaces. The sapphire crystal is domed for a better vintage look. The winding crown in steel, engraved with the Tudor rose, is screwed down to guarantee water resistance to 200 metres (660 ft).

The watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, Tudor calibre 2824, offering a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.

Matched to a brushed steel bracelet or to on aged leather strap (both with a folding clasp), the Tudor Heritage Black Bay “Black” (ref. 79220N) is accompanied by a second strap in black fabric.

Price: Euro 2,910 / US$ 3,100 with leather strap or Euro 3,210 / US$ 3,245 with steel bracelet.
