Nomos - Neomatik 1st Edition

Nomos Glashütte just announced the introduction of a new series of automatic watches, identified as neomatik 1st Edition, all driven by the Nomos Calibre DUW 3001, an in-house, self-winding movement equipped with the Nomos proprietary swing system.

With a thickness of just 3.2 mm, this 3Hz (21,600 vph) movement offers remarkable features including decentralised seconds, a stop-seconds mechanism, bidirectional winding motor and incabloc shock protection. The power reserve is approx 42 hours.

The DUW 3001 calibre is finished in the typical Glashütte style: three-quarter plate, tempered blue screws, rhodium-plated surfaces with Glashütte ribbing and perlage.

The ten new neomatik models are part of five families - Ludwig, Metro, Minimatik, Orion and Tangente - and are available with two dials variations, the classic cyan blue on white silver or the stylish neon orange on champagne.
