Girard-Perregaux - 1966 40mm Steel

For the first time in the history of the collection, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 will be available also in stainless steel for the joy of many fans of this elegant and minimalist three-hand timepiece.

The clean lines of the 40 mm case are classic but still original as evidenced by its profile and the slightly curved lugs which follow the profile of the wrist. The total thickness of the watch is 8.90 mm.

The opaline silvered dial, protected by a gently domed sapphire crystal, features beveled indicators and leaf type hands which, like the large second hand, are silver in colour to perfectly harmonise with the case. The small aperture at 3 o'clock is used for the date indication.

The sapphire case back reveals the automatic GP03300-0030 mechanical movement with its oscillating weight decorated with a Cote de Genève motif. Produced and assembled in the workshops of Girard-Perregaux at La Chaux-de-Fonds, the movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 46-hour power reserve.

The Girard-Perregaux 1966 40mm in stainless steel has a price of US$ 7,500 with a black alligator strap (ref. 49555-11-131-BB60) or US$ 8,200 with a stainless steel bracelet (ref. 49555-11-131-11A).
