Frederique Constant - Classic Manufacture Moonphase

Established in 1988, Frederique Constant has built a reputation for creating quality timepieces with an excellent price/quality ratio with the explicit goal to make luxury accessible to more people.

The continued effort in increasing the overall quality of their timepieces is demonstrated by the fact that, since 2004, the Plan-les-Ouates brand developed and manufactured 19 in-house movements, the 19th being the FC-715 calibre that powers the two new Classic Manufacture Moonphase models.

This new automatic movement with date and moonphase, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering 42 hours of power reserve, is nicely finished with Côtes de Genève and perlage decoration, anglage and rhodiage on all bridges as well as gold plated rotor also decorated with Côtes de Genève.

The new Classic Manufacture Moonphase comes in a 40,5 mm case with either stainless steel or rose gold plated finishing.

The silvered dial is purely classic with polished double or single baton-type hour-markers and dauphine hands, pearl black or rose gold plated depending on the model. The disk of the moonphase, featuring a night sky with the moon and stars, adds the final touch.

Turning the timepiece we find an officer-style hinged back to protect the sapphire crystal which lets the owner observe the performance and the decorations of the movement. The watch is water resistant to 3 ATM.

Completed by a black or brown alligator-skin strap with a pin-buckle, the Frederique Constant Classic Manufacture Moonphase has a retail price of Swiss Francs 3,400 in stainless steel (ref. FC-715S4H6) and Swiss Francs 3,800 for the rose gold plated model (ref. FC-715V4H4). frederiqueconstant.com
