A. Lange & Sohne - Saxonia Boutique Edition

One of the pillars of the A. Lange & Söhne production since 1994, the Saxonia family includes a wide variety of timepieces, from elegant two or three-hand watches to models with refined calendar and chronograph functions like the iconic Datograph.

Earlier this year, at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie 2015, the Saxon watchmaker presented the reworked Saxonia family with new case sizes as well as a redesigned dial featuring a newly developed minute scale with slightly extended markers and twin baton appliques at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock.

Today, on occasion of the Watches & Wonders 2015 event held in Hong Kong, A. Lange & Söhne  unveiled a boutique-only version of the Saxonia hand-wound which is characterised by a stunning grey dial.

The case is crafted in pink or white gold and has a diameter of 37 mm, a bit larger compared to the non-boutique version which is 35 mm.

The overall quality is outstanding as usual with the beautifully hand-finished L941-1 calibre, displayed through the sapphire crystal case back, to attract our eyes. The movement beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and guarantees 45 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The balance cock is hand-engraved making each movement one of a kind.

Available exclusively in the 16 A. Lange & Söhne boutiques worldwide, the new Saxonia 37 mm will have a price of Euro 15,900 in pink gold (ref. 216.033) and Euro 16,900 in white gold (ref. 216.027).
