Autodromo - Stradale

Autodromo is a watch and men's accessories brand created in 2011 by Bradley Price, an industrial designer with motors in mind and a passion for Italian sport cars which explains the use of Italian words for his brand and watches.

The Autodromo Stradale - "stradale" is an Italian word which means "road going" - draws inspiration from dashboard instruments from Italian sports berlinettas of the late 1950s and early 1960s.
The multi-layered dial is a distinctive feature with the hour indexes applied to a transparent glass ring floating over the coloured dial below for a three-dimensional effect.
The stainless steel case has a diameter of 40 mm with a thickness of 10.8 mm. It offers water resistance to 50 meters (5 ATM).
The Stradale is available in three colour variations: cream dial with brown strap, gray dial with blue strap and black dial with burgundy strap. The custom designed leather strap reminds the leather interiors of classic sport cars.
With the Swatch Group going to restrict the sales of their ETA movements, the movement choice of Autodromo for the Stradale model was the automatic Miyota 9015, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The choice of a Japan-made mechanical movement helped to keep the pricing of this timepiece pretty attractive at US$ 875.
