Arnold & Son - DSTB (Dial Side True Beat)

Part of the Instrument Collection, the new Arnold & Son DSTB (Dial Side True Beat) features a newly developed automatic movement with a true beat seconds complication.
The particularity is that not just the seconds hand but also the lever, the wheels and the three rose-gold treated true beat seconds bridges are located on the dial side. Paying homage to Arnold’s maritime achievements, the true beat seconds lever is shaped like an anchor.

The large sapphire dial that occupies the top left portion of the dial at 11 o’clock indicates the true beat seconds. At 4 o’clock, a white lacquered domed subdial with blued hands indicates the hours and the minutes. The result is an eye-catching three-dimensional dial.
The red gold case has a diameter of 43.5 mm (a size adopted for several Arnold & Son timepieces) and houses the self-winding calibre A&S6003 which beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The 229 components movement features Haute Horlogerie finishing with hand-chamfered and satin-finished lever and bridges, polished edges and fine circular graining and Côtes de Genève rayonnantes. It offers a power reserve of 50 hours.

The Arnold & Son DSTB is a limited edition of 50 pieces.
