Cartier - Rotonde de Cartier Day and Night watch with retrograde moon phases

The new Rotonde de Cartier Day and Night presented by Cartier at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) 2014 held in Geneva last January is characterized by a split dial: the upper part is devoted to the time and the day/night indications, the lower part displays the retrograde moon phases.
The hour of the day is indicated by a representation of the sun (from 6 am to 6 pm) and the moon (from 6 pm to 6 am) while the apple-shaped blued hand indicates the minute on the minute rail track circle.
Below, the retrograde hand tipped by a crescent moon indicates the lunar cycles.
The pink gold or palladium case has a diameter of 43.5 mm with the signature crown set with a blue sapphire cabochon.
The Rotonde de Cartier Day and Night watch is driven by the self-winding calibre  9912 MC which beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.
