F.P.Journe - 10 Years Anniversary Tourbillon

Last year Fancois Paul Journe celebrated 30 years since the creation of his first watch - a Tourbillon pocket watch - with a wristwatch which reinterpreted that original timepiece. We wrote about this commemorative watch, the Anniversary Tourbillon, here.

F.P. Journe is now presenting the 10 Years Anniversary Tourbillon, a very exclusive series limited to just 10 pieces, which celebrates the 10th anniversary since the opening of the first F.P. Journe boutique in Tokyo and the contemporaneous inauguration of the 10th boutique in Beirut.
For the attribution of these ten timepieces, the assignees will be randomly selected by draw from a list of candidate buyers proposed by each of the ten boutiques.
The 40 mm platinum case houses the same manual winding Calibre 1412 that was used for the 30 Years Anniversary Tourbillon. Visible through the sapphire back of the case, this beautifully finished rose gold movement beats at 21,600 vibration per hours and offers approximately 56 hours of power reserve thanks to the two barrels in parallel.
The dial in grained silver features a distinctive blackened hour display fixed by a screwed steel polished circle (a patented system) and white steel Abraham-Louis Breguet hands.
The price of the F.P. Journe 10 Years Anniversary Tourbillon is 120,000 Swiss Francs.
