A. Lange & Söhne - Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Handwerkskunst

Issued in just 15 pieces exclusively available through the brand boutiques, the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Handwerkskunst is a display of the exceptional artisanal skills mastered by the German manufacture A. Lange & Söhne.
The classic Lange 1 dial is here in white gold and hand-decorated using tremblage and relief engraving techniques.
For the first time in a Lange timepiece, the blue numerals of the outsize date display are hand-painted.
The patented peripheral calendar ring provides indication of date, day, month and leap year while moon phases are displayed in the seconds sub-dial positioned between 7 and 8 o'clock. All perpetual calendar displays advance instantaneously.
The decorations of the calibre L082.1 - visible through the caseback sapphire crystal - are not less impressive especially when combined with the advanced technical solutions of this movement.
The relief-engraved tourbillon and intermediate-wheel cocks frame the tourbillon ensemble with the patented stop-seconds feature. The same free-hand engraving technique is used to decorate the large central rotor in 21-carat gold with a platinum centrifugal mass. The three train bridges are embellished with solarisation. Four screwed gold chatons and a diamond endstone bearing for the tourbillon are the final touch to a superlatively finished movement.
The back  of the 41.9 mm platinum case  height is 12.2 mm  is hand-engraved with the A. Lange & Söhne signature and the limited edition number.
