Eberhard - Tazio Nuvolari-Vanderbilt Cup Naked Ref. 31068

Eberhard's Tazio Nuvolari-Vanderbilt Cup collection is dedicated to the legendary driver Tazio Nuvolari and his victory of the Vanderbilt Cup, a prestigious race held in the New York State, in 1936.

At BaselWorld 2013 Eberhard presented a new addition to this collection with the Tazio Nuvolari–Vanderbilt Cup Naked.
The watchcase is lighter than in the other versions because there is no back plate, thus the definition Naked. Instead, the back sapphire crystal displays the ETA-based self-winding movement with perlage and Côte de Genève finishing. The movement offers 42 hours of power reserve.

The chronograph stop button is coaxial with the crown, reminiscent of the Eberhard coaxial chronographs of the 1930s. The 42 mm steel case is waterproof to 30 metres.
The three counters dial is black with embossed white-painted Arabic numerals and white large leaf-shaped hands.
The black leather wristband has contrasting white top-stitching and buckle or, optionally, a deploying clasp.
