Maurice Lacroix presented the Pontos S Diver, a new vintage-style diving watch enriching the Pontos line.
Designed to professional specifications and water resistant to 600mt/2,000ft, the Pontos S Diver's main characteristic is the inner rotating bezel with graduated scale for calculating the time of immersion. Rotation is controlled via a watertight external crown positioned at 2 o’clock along the side of the case middle.
The applied hour markers and the Superluminova highlighted hands stand out against the brushed black dial for excellent readability. The minutes and seconds hands, just like the 5 minute markers, have red details that further enhance the look of the dial.
The stainless steel watch case has a diameter of 43 mm and it features an automatic helium valve at 9 o'clock to prevent any damage due to the pressure difference between the gas trapped in the chamber and the outside air. The Pontos S Diver (ref. PT6248) is driven by the automatic ML115 calibre running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 38-hour power reserve.
The Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver is available with brown or black strap or with bracelet with retail prices starting at around Euro 2,500 / US$ 3,400.
